This award is for their production of the Cruising Guide to Newfoundland. They did a complete re-write of this publication last year and it is the authoritative guide to cruising in Newfoundland. It is a superb production, raising the standard of these cruising guides to a new and very professional level.

Doug and Dale put an incredible amount of time and hard work into the production of this book, for no reward, and it incorporates a lot of information resulting from their own cruises to Newfoundland including a circumnavigation in 2005, as well as superb quality photographs
