Harold & Kwailan La Borde
OCC Award - 1994
Trinidadians Harold and Kwailan received the OCC Award in recognition of their many years spent world cruising in a succession of home-built yachts named HUMMINGBIRD, from 27ft HUMMINGBIRD in 1959 to HUMMINGBIRD III, a 55ft wooden ketch. They were praised for cruising in the best traditions of the OCC, without fuss and making many friends along the way.
