Ken and Heather Baker were part of the hugely successful OCC Newfoundland Rally, sailing their 40ft catamaran Faring as newcomers, Associate members of the OCC. When the sailing vessel Glide suffered a dismasting, they willingly gave up their cruising plans for the rest of the season, and stood by to escort Glide to safety, for over 400 miles. They showed the true spirit of the Ocean Cruising Club, and proved that its camaraderie is second to none.
