Along with the USCG helicopter rescue video that is available, we have posted a new USCG Helicopter rescue pamphlet that all crews venturing offshore should be familiar with. It should be aboard all offshore yachts.

The Yachting World Says Good-bye: Olin Stephens
Olin J. Stephens II, CCA member and one of the most prominent naval architects of the last century, a designer who created more than 2,200 cruising and racing yachts over decades of innovation in sailing, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2008. DSC Distress Communications Form

2007 Blue Water Medal and Rod Stephens Trophy Presented
The 2007 Awards were presented at a dinner at the New York Yacht Club on January 15. Peter Passano was presented with the Prestigious Blue Water Medal, Mike Golding won the Rod Stephens Trophy, and Gillian West the Far Horizons Award. CCA Member Awards were also presented.
