I'm going to sail my 36'er to the Canaries this coming winter. I'm thoroughly fed up with the winters here.
Leaving Kinsale in early October, Portugal, Madeira and then Canaries.
I'm also thinking of then going on down to the Cape Verde islands
The questions I'd like opinions on are the coming back in February.
I know it's not actually the normal thing to do but I don't have the time to do an Atlantic circuit.
How difficult would the North bound passage from the Cape Verdes to Canaries be and also from Canaries to Azores to wait for a bit of a window to head up to Ireland?
I'm guessing that there are passage makers from South Africa who would have done something similar.
Any ideas or alternatives would be really appreciated.
