The current plan for WHOOSH is a late Fall departure from Florida, USA to Panama, a Canal transit and the conventional Coconut Milk Run to Australia, except that the initial Pacific legs may be Galapagos, Easter, Pitcairn and into the southern region of French Polynesia via the Gambiers in the Tuamotu chain. Crew are expected to share equally in all cruising costs such as clearance fees, food & drink, and berthing. Boat maintenance & repair expenses will be the responsibility of the owner; land touring costs will be covered by each individual. Crew will be expected to carry repatriation insurance. A preference is for younger crew who are seeking offshore sailing experience to compliment their formal training.
For more information on the owner and boat, a good starting place is my member details provided on this website. If interested, your are invited to contact me with your details and availability.
