We are looking for a berth for ALKIRA (Najad 44') for next season in Med France or Costa Brava. Needs to be well placed for flights from UK, secure and preferably with yard and hoist facilities. Would be pleased to hear from anyone with recent experience in this area. Alkira is currently in Port Vendres.

As Port Officers in this area, do please contact us to see if we can advise you. We do of course know some of the marinas around here and can find out about others if necessary. Our own port of Sta. Margarita is restricted in parts by depth so it would help us to know your draft.

We are based in Almerimar, about 30 miles West of Almeria. One of the cheaper marinas in Med Spain but may be a little outside your area of search. Please e-mail me if you would like any further info.

I overwintered a few years ago in Estapona, found it fairly reasonable, good road and air links and close to Gibralta for cheap flights to the UK etc
