GRIBS are integrated into SAILMAIL the HF email prog. In my case I am presented with a mercator projection which I can zoom in on and then drag a box (marquee is the computer jargon I believe) and then I define date ranges and resolution. Works very well. Some OCC friends of mine import the Gribs into Maxsea and then overlay them on their charts - I've not seen this work and I think I prefer to separate the functions. I do find the idea of planning a passage in a product like the Digital Wave product (within which you will have made preferences, like for example, track optimised to minimise head winds) and then keeping a live optimisation running on the basis of GRIB downloads quite intriguing. Of course if you got this to work then you probably don't even need to be on board and could just fly out to join the vessel when it arrives.....
