There is a site on the Internet that lists the latest free wireless Internet open transmitters. Start with dialer.net. They have a program, free that 'sniffs' wireless sites. Put Dialer.net. into a search engine such as Google. You deposit some money over the net via credit card. You then use the above program to find the nearest dial up number or wireless site. For instance, in Marmaris Turkey alone there are more than six dial up points you can take your laptop to and get on the Internet. It is a way of retaining email in your own laptop with constant access when not on the internet. That cannot be done with say yahoo or Hotmail.
